However, last year’s winners will be invited to perform at the 2015 SBS Youth Music Festival. Previous years’ winners will be eligible for next year’s (2016) talent competition if they are eligible to enter in a higher school level category.

  • Individual students/groups may enter up to 2 videos.
  • The contest is open to amateurs only. An amateur is a person who engages in a particular activity for pleasure rather than for financial benefit or professional reasons.

Contest managers will review all videos, and if any are deemed inappropriate, you will be notified and the video will not be included in the contest in whatever category submitted. Entrants must complete and submit the contest entry form with each video to be eligible. Odds of winning the Contest will depend on the nature, quality and quantity of entries submitted and determined solely by the Sponsor based on its tabulation of registered voters of the Website.

The criteria for judging entries by the judges will include originality, stage presence, vocals, performance quality, musicianship and overall likeability.

Voting will be open from Friday, May 15, 2015 through Friday, June 12, 2015. Viewers will help choose the winning performer(s) in the event of a judges scoring draw, by voting for their favorite video. All entrants should rally their family and friends during this time period to vote for them.
